The point of a racing game is to let you drive fast in cars that you couldn't normally afford, but the games always only give you enough money to start with a shitty Beetle or a Mini Cooper. They don't have to start you off with a Jaguar, but you should start with a half-decent car. I hate the licenses too; If I wanted to earn my driver's license, I'd just go to the DMV and earn a real one.

Jul 26, 2008 - you got it all wrong, if it wernt for the licenses and the starting off from the bottem with a rubbish car, it would just turn GT into just a very basic game, GT is fun to play becuase you gotta work your way to the top to the good races with the good car, if its all there ready for you to play with, it'll just make the game boring very quickly, i love GT becuase you gotta work yuor way up to the good stuff, evan with the licenses, i love it

Jul 26, 2008 - That's the appeal with the series; you HAVE to compete in races to win more credits and thus can acquire more faster and expensive cars. Where's the fun with starting with the best car the game can offer? You'd quickly get bored of it. Besides there's also the Arcade mode were you can drive the faster cars right from the beginning.Can say I agree with the license tests though, it's pointless to have them in every friggin' game. Do them one time and you should be done with it. Christ.

Yes, there is 2 player and you can also hook up 6 playstations for 6 player mode.And to say to stepxunit, sure GT3 is old now, came out in 2001, but dont take it for granted, GT3 was really the official game that brought a new era to racing games. PGR, Forza, excellent games. But they only great because of GT3. Remember that.
