Jul 26, 2008 - He does have a point though. Before, the main comic-movie franchises were Batman and Superman. Since the turn of the century, Marvel's made almost ALL of their series into movies, and as for DC, it still seems to be only about Batman and Superman. Sure, their new movies piss all over the 'classic' ones, but c'mon. Why can't DC take a hint from Marvel and give all their other characters the movie treatment? Wonder Woman? Flash? Green Lantern? DC has a treasure trove of classics they can use.

Jul 26, 2008 - It's just the way DC does thing, I don't really aprove of it but hey they have enough trouble making 2 good superhero movies. Marvel made Spiderman 2 and Iron Man and one could make the case that every other marvel movie sucked. (I liked blade 1 and 2 though) DC has allways given a lot of priority to their big 3 characters, even in the comic books. many people dont like that but I personaly do. as I dont care about their other characters except for supes and batman

If you want to wax intellect about the movie's directing style or something to that effect we could do that but dont alienate the amazing movie for some hope in seeing the corny camp flick like the '89 Batman was.

Appealed more to the old comics of Batman before extreme censorship and the new movies with Tommy Lee and Nicholson. Sure, Nicholson was alright, but did anyone else think Tommy Lee's face just looked like candy popcorn?Props to Dark Knight.

Jul 26, 2008 - on second thought, i don't get to do this often. I just want to argue a coulple of things....like Jack Nicholson. He's a creep. So, he has no problem playing a creep. He totally passed of the sycho act. As for heath leger, i've seen him do better. way better. and although it's cool how they introduced two face in this one, i've seen that actor in movies where he's the big nice guy, so i had trouble picturing him as a killer.
