I have been planning to do this for a few monthsThis is the Odyssey Part I. The video is from the epic miniseries that came out around 1997 edited to the epic 24 minute track by Symphony X.NOTE: I have not included the overture in the first part. That will be a seperate video.

Jul 26, 2008 - The only actors I know for sure are Odysseus - Armand Assante/ Penelope - Greta Sacchi/ Calypso - Venessa Williams. Great Movie. Beautiful scenery, well captured love story among MANY other things. Definitely an under rated classic.

Jul 26, 2008 - this made for tv movie version of the odyssey is the best one i have seen even though much of the epic was left out from Homer.however, the musical accompaniment is really in poor taste and does not fit the movie at all. i only call them as i see them.
