After a year I have the fan film done. Not the "Scarlet's Web" I wanted but this will be a good start. Very rough, but I still enjoy the way it came out.I took some creative liberties i the film. (The more notable is the length of Peter's hair.)Music is from freeplaymusic.comRoadside by Rise AgainstFrontline by Pillarand the Pirates theme.Part 1 of 3 in a series.

Jul 26, 2008 - You made a good choice in chosing Shocker forthis episode. Who's next?? PLEASE TELL US!!

Jul 26, 2008 - ive never seen a fan made spiderman video before and i have to say this was really well made. Spiderman is pretty hard to do i would say because of all of his spidery-ness climbing on walls and what have you lol but i think you pulled it off nicely

Jul 26, 2008 - As both a student of video production and a huge Spider-Man fan, I have some creative criticism. Try not to take it too hard.First, clean your lens. Every time you had light shining on the camera, the dirt on the lens was obscuring the picture.Second, kudos on using Shocker, one of my favourite villains. Always thought he'd work in the movies. I'm just disapointed that you didn't use the classic look.Lastly, get more creative with the fight scenes. Spidey fights fancy. Remember that.

twighlightprince Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Thank you very much for that. I would love to remake this over all it was a bit disappointing. I'm a Shocker fan as well, I wish I did have the money to pull him off right. Again thank you very much for the criticism.

Jul 26, 2008 - This was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but when you make episode 2 can you make the fight scenes better because like the other guysaid, Spidey fights fancy! so when you do morefight scenes make spidey do somthing like...jump on to the wall and spin a web to trapthe villain like the comics ok????By the way who's gonna be the next villain???

Jul 26, 2008 - Its a good start guys if you want some constructive crit. A dirty camera lens degrades the quality so keeping checks on it is a must. Invest in a microphone so you can hear what the actors are saying, sometimes the music is so loud you cant hear what they're saying. When doing fightscenes look to Hong Kong cinema for camera angles, you have some good movement but it never looks like you're hitting each other. I think these things will help out for the next project. Not bad otherwise

GGPUNK88 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - where did you get the costume

xxnightsurferxx Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - first of all the story line was good but the fighting could have looked slightly more realistic. the acting was alright to say the least it was good and i enjoyed watching it so for this fan-film i give it a 3\5

Jul 26, 2008 - Unbelievable! I would be proud if I would have done this!

Jul 26, 2008 - Hey, good job though. as stated before, audio was a definite problem. a good boom mic could be found on eBay for a good price. also, sound effects are very necessary for the action sequences to pull off the realism. also, trying to story board your fighting sequences to pull them off better and so you can plan a great action fight. and try to eliminate those quiet gaps in your audio by recording just some ambient noise from your set. good job thought, i hope to see shocker on the big screen.
