Oct 14, 2008 - can you explain what is the blind spot. i don't get it

calladuz Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - its the spot you can't see looking forward, left or right or your mirrors, its between the side of the car (behind you) and the line of sight of the side mirror. Looking at that window behind the front side door is where the blind spot is. A bike or even a car can hide there, so you must check it.

Oct 14, 2008 - to new drivers here's a tip of advice: always get into the proper lane well in advance. let's just say I learned the hard way.

fishinnfarmin Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - My car has a small blind spot, so I often fail to check it. But I almost got in a wreck on the freeway because I forgot to check it. So it is pretty important. I never had to pass on my license test, luckily

Oct 14, 2008 - It is a spot that is blocked by your car when you are looking through your mirrors.

Oct 14, 2008 - Great video i took my test a couple days ago and I reserved judgement on these videos till after... and I must say they helped a lot and a must see if you want a quick test with less flaws. THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS!

roadmonitoroz Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - It's amazing how many people don't actually do this blind spot check. I dodge accidents daily due to lame drivers.

dammitdexter Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - I'm usually real good about checking my blind spot after checking my mirror when making a lane change or turn to the right, but the man in the video brought up a great point about having to do the same thing when merging into the middle of the street to make a left turn. This is just as important because there might be another car behind you who always wants to turn left and they may already be in that lane.

pualywog Says:

Oct 14, 2008 - i think these video are going to help me man!
