Jul 7, 2008 - i dont know if shane avoided flyod or if floyd avoided shane but i know whod win in a fight.... mosley

jackwardjw Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - no-one can beat the pretty boy, why does every1 keep hating on him? if he fights cotto it's gonna be embarassingly one-sided in floyd's favour. Everyone thought baldomir was gona trouble him, but he won every round on all scorecards apart from 2 rounds that 1 judge gave to baldomir. floyd loves to fight big sluggers, i cant wait til floyd finally gets the chance to prove, by beating cotto, that he is the GOAT.

Jul 7, 2008 - haha your nuts...floyds gotta get through oscar again and i dont think thats gonna be easy i think oscar knows the deal

jackwardjw Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - if it aint gona be easy then why was it so easy last time? lol

skelletonworld Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - why was it a split.... im pretty sure if its a split it wasn't easy....oscar can take him out of his game believe that learn your shit....mayweather is the only fruit who says hes gonna retire after every fight...now thats being a dork like you gotta give everyone the chance....hes not even deep in 40 wins he acts like he gets hurt when hes fine

jackwardjw Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - he's had hand trouble now for years, and why wudn't he consider retiring when he's the best p4p fighter in the world and he has proven himself on countless occasions. OK so oscar put up a good fight but most experts hold that floyd outclassed him and oscar didnt really have a chance. I bet you were one of the guys who thought that hatton had a chance against floyd and look how that panned out? ppl seem 2 hate on floyd because he is a defensive master rather than an all-out warrior.

jackwardjw Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - P.S. Oscar almost always comes up short in the crunch fights against the biggest names (Floyd, B-Hop, Shane etc), whereas Floyd always manages to overcome adversity, he's a born champion. does any1 know what the 2nd song is called??

skelletonworld Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - 1. Outclassed is not the right word2. HE hasn't proved it really he only has 39 fights and only 25 are by KO which shows iffyness in my opinion3. anyone on the planet knew that floyd would pick apart hatton...unless hatton got lucky and hit him and thats obviously hard to do..4. People hate him cuz he fights boring with little offense.... even roy was always on the offense.....name one known great defensive fighter that didnt have a big offense.... NOONE....hence why people hate him

skelletonworld Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - its not adversity its just him being more clutch but you can have a team like the patriots who are clutch until the superbowl but they are still really good so yea im saying oscar could be like the patriots....hes still a great one and can do more then one thing unliek floyd

Jul 7, 2008 - Pernell Whitaker, Willie Pep and Bernard Hopkins.. 3 of the best fighters ever, they all had borring styles but are truly all time greats..

youz1uglybish Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - cotto is alot more then just a slugger..if thats your opinion on miguel cotto then you seriously need to see a few more of his fights..cottos style is about wining hes going to do what ever he needs to do to make sure his hand is raised at the end if it means painting a bulls eye on your mid-section an re-arranging your rib cage then thats what hes going to do..miguel is always focused and determined his jab isnt great but he never forgets to use it he will pose a problem to mayweather!

youz1uglybish Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - me personally i dont think he will beat mayweather simply because mayweather wont stay around long enough for cotto to mount any consistent offense floyds going to hit cotto an run all fight long you wont see to many 3-4 punch combos..mayweathers lead right is 1 of the best in the buisness that punch will find a home on miguels chin all fight long..ive never seen cotto frustrated in a fight but i think mayweather's style is enough to frustrate anyone!

jackwardjw Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - OK i must admit that i haven't seen many of cotto's fights. I acknowledge that branding him a slugger doesn't do him justice at all but as you say, mayweather's style will frustrate any1. i just think that mayweather is simply too quick and clever for any other fighter in the welterweight division, and he also has the power to rock any1. im raging that mosley V judah was cancelled! who would you have bet on to win that 1? sugar? later dude

youz1uglybish Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - yeah that fight was def marked on my calendar..i woudnt have bet on that fight for a few reasons..#1 although mosley is still competitive hes on the down side of his career i'd bet the house on a prime shane mosley to beat the piss out of zab any day of the week #2 zab (sighs) i think hes the most talented fighter in the sport he has all the tools to be great hes 30 and i dont even think hes scratched the surface of what hes capable of in that ring leading me to beleive he never will!

youz1uglybish Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - if zab came into the mosley fight gave 100% of himself into training an preparing for mosley he could easily win that fight but zab just doesnt give maximum effort until he gets into the ring and thats just not good enough..battles are won on the training ground and shane has proven to be in phenomenal shape his entire career he prepares himself well just based on that i'd have to give shane the nod and expect him to win that fight you never know with zab though hes talented enough to beat any 1

xxliljpxx Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - one of the greatest ever..

boxingfanofthegame Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Great fighter

NewsAboutTheBruise Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Zab can't concentrate for more than 4 rounds, and Mosley can throw power punches at full speed for a full 12 rounds. Zab has never fought at super welterweight and Mosley has won titles at super welter. Mosley has (or had) every advantage in that fight. That's why Zab Judah pulled out. Zab is very talented, but he needs a better trainer than his father.

hannibalsreign Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Cotto barely beat Mosley..from hearing what Cotto said after the fight, one would have to say that Mosley beat Mosley. He was crushing him with that overhand right and just would not mount anymore of an attack than just one punch for a while.Cotto knew he had to just run and let time run out on someone he couldn't stop.Mosley is truly one of my favorites and I am sorry to see him reaching the end of his career...trying to grab 1 last win..end up embarassed like Sugar Ray staying too long.

Socalplyr213 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - sugar shane knows how to slug it out like mexicans

rayzeos116 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I think Mosley should fight forrest one more time, with vernon being washed up due to shoulder problems, I know Shane would win.
