Jul 7, 2008 - This film was actually pretty damn bad.There were only 5-7 minutes of dogfighting, there was this strange love story between Kati and MvR (which there really was no relationship between them in real life), and the acting was not at all convincing.I'm not even going to go into detail with how inaccurate the film was. It was worse than Flyboys, but was still better than Von Richthofen and Brown (though it felt like a rip-off of that old film).

Seems to me that for a few thousand dollars they could get some history grad students and have them research/critique aspects of a film like this that deals with a worthwhile historical subject. And the nurse-love interest thing? Sounds like DiCaprio as "Jack" in "Titanic": a ploy to get young girls to see the movie. I hate it when they play that f__ing game.
