Oct 14, 2008 - Is there anything as cool as having long hair and blowing beer into the air? No.

Oct 14, 2008 - I've loved this song for years but never knew there was a video. It was very, very cool. This song is possibly the greatest ballad ever.

Oct 14, 2008 - how is this a ballad?
walldinowalldino Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - It certainly isn't what we've all come to know as the "traditional" ballad, no. But the moody, lovesick feel of the music, together with the words defining how one can be so completely infatuated with a completely untouchable girl that it hurts, seem to qualify it as a ballad of sorts.

Oct 14, 2008 - that is a badass fuckin solo
woodchuk123 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Yes, Chris Risola's solo in this is completely badass. What I love about it most is that it's completely melodic despite the technicality - the two handed tapping section completely serves the mood of the song without sounding like a gimmick. Not only is it melodic, it's also beautiful. The video actually cuts out the solo lines that come after the main solo and before the final chorus, and they're just as beautiful - the phrasing on them is unbelievable. Excellent solo, and band!
dewane Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - yeah plus he overhand frets that shit to look extra sick

Oct 14, 2008 - I miss this kind of music! So many of us stupidly bought just enough Nirvana and Pearl Jam albums that these types of bands just called it quits. Damn!
BAR6057 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - yeah, they just got shut out like all the generations of rock music before them...i freakin hate all the dang music today. nothing sounds good and all the damn teenagers running around in so-called bands are making a mockery of music.
centaurus777 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - What a voice!! Can anyone match this today? You never know what you've got 'til its GONE.Lots of power in this one.
weloveclover Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Hey mate i just want to point out im a teenager and i love this stuff. I only listen to stuff from the 80's/70's. And theres loads of people like me out in the big wide world so stop god damn generalising >:(
BAR6057 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - my bad, i was in an annoyed mood but i usually dont try to insult anybody. its just where i live...people know of the older music but they dont respect it when it comes on the radio like in my car and it drives me crazy. so i wasnt trying to knock on all teenagers out there. just the ones i know that are ignorant of older music.
