Jul 26, 2008 - Who is the ignorant who put this video. This NOT charanga, not the song, not the dance. Charanga is a type of fast salsa music that is practiced in Cali, Colombia, that looks like salsa bugaloo and they all originated in Cuba.

Jul 26, 2008 - In the line dance arena, often a choreographer names his or her dance the same as the song. In this case, the song is called La Charanga, recorded by Belle Perez. It has nothing to do with anything else. It's not trying to be anything but a line dance.
