Jul 7, 2008 - Hello...And here is the proof from actual documents..."Indian mathematicians made early contributions to the study of the decimal number system, zero, negative numbers, arithmetic, and algebra. These mathematical concepts were transmitted to the Middle East, China, and Europe and led to further developments that now form the foundations of many areas of mathematics." I am not posting this to make you look like an idiot, but to to enhance your knowledge. Thank you and God Bless.

shatree2007 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - so give me the link of the proof....I have many books of Islamic sciences that used for the world today and nothing indian contributions in it. All Islamic sciences are pure Islamic inventions and some contributions from ancestor of Arab like Babylonian and egyptian. indian absorbed knowledge from persian/arabic invaders.

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - All Islamic Sciences came from Islam, that is why they are called Islamic Sciences, just like Indian Mathematics is called Indian Mathematics because it was influenced by the people of the Indian Subcontinent. I am trying to prove that the Mathematics of today, are influenced to a certain extent by the Mathematics of the Indian People and Scholars. Um, and as for your texts that you have read. They are called Islamic Texts, so I doubt if they have anything else in there from other cultures.

Jul 7, 2008 - Hey everyone.....the question that destroys sikhismif re-incarnation was true, then isn't that an unfair punishment by god, as i don't know my previous sins, so therefore i can't learn from them and alter my ways in order to reach the pinacle of life which is being part of god???so if i turn out to be a bug in my next life.....then how do i know my previous sins of this life in order to remedy them??please answer rationally and logically.

shatree2007 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Whatever you say...the fact is...modern sciences that we use today are derived from Islamic sciences that transfered to europe and the world....toledo university is one of school that translated many Arabic science texts into latin etc

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Hi, the answer to your question is that you and I and everyone here do know our past sins. However, we cannot access them because of our Physical Body. Our past lives are imbedded in our soul, which is Immortal unlike our Physical Body (which decays). That is why, Sikhs are taught to live a honorable life all the time. And another thing, we have already payed for our past sins and good deeds in our past lives, that is why we are humans instead of a bug. Our purpose now is to achieve God.

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I can see, that you are very close minded when it comes to a certain faiths and cultures. I think you are Muslim, am I not correct? I don't agree with Islam but I agree with your right to practice it. So therefore, using this logic. You don't have to agree with what I say, but you must respect my right to say it. Which you are not displaying due to your closed mindedness. May God give you peace and a open mind.

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Okay, well first of all i would like to thankyou for replying in a sensible and modest manner, unlike the unfortunate majority here in the youtube community.anyway, what i was trying to say was, that, at the moment, i don't know my previous life's sins, therefore i cannot improvise on my lessons learnt from them, and what you are suggesting is that being a human is the best life form on earth?? and being anything less than a human being, don't you think thats an insult to god's creation??

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - No, that is not what I mean. Every living thing, has a soul of God in them be they Animal or Plant. However, a human being has something more. They have the choice to follow that one God or be lead astray from He/She aka independent thought. So therefore, being human you have already shown you are true to God. So now the purpose of this life is not to think about your sins in your past life. But learning on how to improve your good deeds so you can become one with that God.

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - okay so, define a good and bad deed in an animal, when a lion kills a zebra for food, is that a good or bad deed on the lions part, when a vulture brings back the remains of dead animals to its young is that a good or bad deed?'They have the choice to follow that one God'..well how does a lion or cockroach have a choice 2 beleive in god or show that they are true to him?oh and so what is the lowest of the lowest life form and what if in that state you still reject god be it if you are a cell?

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - and, you said that '..has a soul of God in them be they Animal or Plant'....so what you're trying to say is that as humans, the soul of God can reject God??and humans are imperfect, no matter what, why would a perfect god want to associate literally with an imperfect body..this ,making an imperfect god, therfore destryoing the title of 'GOD'

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - THERE you go, IMPERFECT. You just said it. Like the saying goes "You can lead a horse to a well, but you cannot make it drink." God can show us the path, but it does not mean that we have to follow it, correct? God gave us with the gift of Independent Though, which means that we choose our own paths in the end.

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - wait you didn't actually answer any of my question???My question was, no matter how good we are, humans are imperfect, so why would you want to associate an imperfect life from with something perfect?

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - That is a deed, I cannot define that as good or bad because neither am I a Scholar nor God..So that is just Karma in my mind (good or bad will be determined by God). That is like me asking whether God really hates me because I am not muslim? Everything has a purpose in life, just like yours right now is to question someone's faith correct? So therefore the purpose of a lion is to provide food for its young and the purpose of a cell is to provide the Physical Protection to a Immortal Soul.

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - That question I cannot answer, that is the glory of God. We cannot always find a motive for the actions of God correct? I don't have the answer to that, Brother. But if you do, I will be very much pleased if you can provide me with it...

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - The purpose of our life is to strive to do good things in the world to the best of our ability, in order to reach a succesful afterlife be it connecting with god or staying in a paradise for eternity.thankyou for your responses!!!!

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Thank you Brother, our purposes are the same then. The only difference is that my Paradise is temporary so is my Hell. And my eternal Paradise is becoming one with God...To which I look forward to. It was very enjoyable talking with you, and I hope we both learned something from each other...God Bless.

23Tej23 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - this question dosnt deystroy sinkism the simple answer is you wont know ,now im not saying u should beleave in this but in sikhism the answer would be you wont becuse the only person that will know is god and how do we know if only god knows we dont its a belife

10slayer Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - so if the only person who knows your past sins is god then how is a human meant to learn of his past sins so he/she doesn't commit that sin again??and what, your religion tells you to just blindly follow a god without reason???and that reason you're not meant to know 'because only god knows'?

EsotericDesi Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Growing longer hair to smell bad is nothing to get inspiration about..!

JagveerVirk559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - The hair is on the body for a reason, so why cut it and shorn it? That is why Sikhs let their hair grow, because God gave them hair for a reason so by cutting it they are defying the will of the Creator aka Allah, Waheguru, God, Ram, ect.
