To sum it up it's about teen struggles: peer pressure, fitting in (or not), making important decisions, and teen violence. Songs don't always have one meaning, they can have more. All of it fits together. If you make a really bad decision and it changes your life dramatically, you might become depressed. When teens put pressure on other teens, that can lead to depression. If you don't fit in and you are possibly made fun of for it, that can lead to depression. What does depression sometimes lead to? TEEN VIOLENCE. People don't usually just attack other people for no reason, so you can't really have teen violence without having all of those other things too. So please, let's not argue about what the song is about because you can't have one without the other.
