Jul 7, 2008 - Actually Sasha has unfortunately retired from skating... it is sad that Sasha wont be skating anymore...but she is working in contortion now. We will see her arround. : )

Jul 7, 2008 - According to the rules and regulations of the USFSA any skater is made inelligable when they use thier person/skating immage for money...ex- Blades of Glory would count in that aspect. You will also notice that she has many more campaigns comming up if you check her web page, and more professional/paid skating apperances. Any skater paid to skate looses eligability.

Michelle Kwan made an appearance as herself in the movie Ice Princess and skated in a number of televised Disney specials before the 2005-6 season, which probably weren't done simply for the fun of it.

Jul 7, 2008 - I correct myself...it is only if the skater skates.So Blades of Glory and Ice princess dont count.But stars on ice does.That is a payed tv event. : ( I prommise you if they are payed they are inelligable. rules according to page 187-189 (2008 rules).This is why I didnt do holiday on ice because I would no longer be eligable.And Disney sponserd through other things by using Disney companies to pay the skaters in other ways than money such as expenses paid for competition.
