Jul 26, 2008 - The idea was it's a cliffhanger ending. The boy is like his mother, a crrier, so he is infected, he just doen't show the symptoms. Keeping in mind how easy it is to the infection to spread, I think he accidently infected his sister- keep n mind they do not know he is a carrier, all they know is that he appears to be not infected despite being bitten. I think that's why the helicopter crashed and from there the infection spread to France.
