The Lexus LS has always been the flagship of the line, but the ES has traditionally been the brand's sales leader. When it came time to develop the fifth-generation Lexus ES, the designers and engineers took the car to a new level of refinement, interior size and appointments that actually outdoes the original LS. Built on the same platform as the Toyota Camry, the new ES 350 was developed to distance itself from the Camry in interior and exterior styling and on-road performance.The ES 350's new, larger engine of 3.5 liters is accompanied by a chassis that has a longer wheelbase and wider track.
