HarperGT88 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Some say it was because of Shedueling Conflicts; Katie Holmes was busy shooting "Mad Money" and couldn't be reached, I think? Others say Nolan wanted a more expiernced actress for the role.

crowskyler Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - You shouldn't have to sacrifice a hero's love interest for him to show his mettle. That's just flambuoyant, bad storytelling.

Daniyal622 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - he's sacrificing everything for his ideals. i think that shows his character very well.

Tripp393 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - tom cruise didn't want her in comic book movies. it was in the new paper.

SolidThugKnuckles Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Such an amazing fight scene. It had so many good things about it, such as the beginning of Batman and Gordon's partnership against crime, the Batman/Ra's encounter on the train, and a great conclusion.

crippl1 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Well the way I see it is Batman's original plan was to keep Ra's from boarding the train...he failed that so plan B was to stop the train. He failed that and then Ra's stabbed the controls (watch it again, Ra's basically prevented himself from leaving that train). So blowing the bridge away was a last resort in my eyes.

novicer16 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Simonc319 and sonic8005,you guys are right...but that was Tim Burton's vision of Batman. I am referring to Nolan's.

novicer16 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - lol..

slugger1983 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Actually I think Batman stabbed it...

slugger1983 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - "I won't kill you...I'll just kill the innocent limo driver that nobody seemed to question"

crippl1 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Look at it again, when Batman is at the controls trying to stop the Train, Ra's lunges at Batman and around 4:16-4:17 stabs the controls with the blade that Batman broke with his wrist...thingies at 4:12

BatFanForever Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - amazing :)

novicer16 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - "I won't kill you...I'll just kill the innocent limo driver that nobody seemed to question"Batman would have made him unconscious...when he does not kill Ra's Al Ghul, the question of killing some unknown person seems bit ridiculous..even by comic book standards.

Atomicpunks22 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - ahahah alright, look back on all the batman movies, and notice how non of the people in the batman suit can turn thier heads! ahahahthey have to move there entire body to look!i cant take any of the movies seriously now AHHAHAluckily they changed that problem for THE DARK KNIGHT, in taht movie, batman can finally move his neck!

bombtom512 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - yes that annoys me too

Patruiq Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - but i don't have to save you . thats priceless

newyorkcity91 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - In my opinion. This is the #1 Batman Movie that I have seen so far. I'm excited for the Dark Knight. This movie will be awesome as well.

crashcrazy07 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I love Gary Oldman's reaction.

nddlj Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Wait, Batman's name is BRUCE too?Like the Hulk?...well it's DAvid Bruce Banner, but I guess they call him Bruce now.LOL, Bruce Banner and this Bruce should meet sometime.Batman's voice sounds weird, I know he's making it sound different from his real voice but it's just ....argh.

jakeskinner52 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Begins was the best batman flick so far

Vryus Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - My understanding was that Batman stabbed the controls, thus making it impossible for Ras to stop the train? They show the dagger later to 'prove' his point I thought.

kilton33 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I'm glad that Chris Nolan didn't have The Joker in the first Batman. This movie couldn't be any more perfect! Then save Batman's #1 arch nemesis for the sequel which is bad ass!!! Been waiting 3 long years for TDK!! 19 more days!

kilton33 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I agree but in 19 days we may catch ourselves saying that another batman flick is the best batman flick lol

jakeskinner52 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - tuche...however u spell that...

xviolentphilx Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - it sounds better in the dark knight..well from the many clips on the internet these days. lol. it seems in bale's old age, his voice is becoming more batman-like. type in "we need lau back" in the search thing, and you'll see a dark knight clip.
