Oct 7, 2008 - Dem Froggy fops that you referred to were allies to Wales in the 15th Century in the Glyndwr war of independence. A French army landed in Milford Haven to support the Welsh army against England. Also, a Welsh army under Prince Owain Lawgoch fought with the French in France against the English in the 14th century. The French therefore were not the true foes as you put it of the Welsh.

Oct 7, 2008 - modern snipers hit, in this order: enemy snipers, communications/signal, medical, heavy weapons operators, fuel. officers are considered 'targets of opportunity' and are hit when its feasible. field officers have lost importance as communication networks put the leadership at a distance.

Oct 7, 2008 - "field officers have lost importance as communication networks put the leadership at a distance." You're just saying that to make me feel old, AREN'T you?Medical? Jeeze, those were off limits back in the day. But otherwise, yes the list looks familiar. We were told to look for Dragunov's.

benaborkowski Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - for all your bickering the facts are there is no such race as english or land as england you have no true heretige your mongrols in a worl of pedegries before the invasion of briton by the romans no-one had ever heard of english or england england belonged to the brythonic celts being the welsh for christ sake get some history books and do a little reading and the song men of harlech was written in 1648 by the welsh about the welsh during the war of the roses

Anglosaxonbastard Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Wrong! we were known as the Britains, and had many tribes especially the Iceni tribe whose leader was Boudacia or Boudica to some. (You'll find her still on British 50p peices) and she has a statue on westminster pier. She hammered the Romans at Massacre of the ninth legion 60 AD. Then at Camulodunum (Colchester today) then Verulamium (St. Albans) and London. So you see the Romans didnt have it all their own way by any means, and by 4th century anyway they were done in this country.

Anglosaxonbastard Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Some Romans stayed and joined us, others returned to country's of origin. But point been theres not an English person on these pages that has never heard of the English Legend Boadacia, so you see our history even stretches back to before the Romans.

Redheadfury Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - One minor extremly perdantic not - Britons ;) lolAgree with you 100%

Redheadfury Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Erm, hate to take away your thourghts, but look at a map of britain, in very big letters there is stamped, England ;)

a0e0roberts Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - "But point been theres not an English person on these pages that has never heard of the English Legend Boadacia" I hope you're kidding. I'm not English, but that's one of my favorite statues (with Big Ben right behind). "Regions Caesar never knew/Thy posterity shall sway." Anyway, she wasn't BEFORE the Romans, she was during the Romans. All else is pre-history.

Firelogger Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - GOOD JOB!

greenwoodtea Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - You are all wrong......the Englsih/Brits anglos what ever you want to call them...never had control of England....the romulans controlled the British isales for 40,000 earth year...then only in 1402 after the last romulan ship returned home ---did the vulcans then arrive. So you see 00all brits are really pointed ear vulcans.

pattenicus Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Bodaceia was not English you pillock. There was no england when she led the Iceni in rebellion against Rome.

JoTheWelder Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Try telling benaborkowski that.

JoTheWelder Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - But we look on her as English.

a0e0roberts Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - "Try telling benaborkowski that." NO WAY. I will not send messages to someone who posts long messages without punctuation! If I understand his rubic's cube of a message, he says that 1) there was no "England" in Roman times, 2) therefore there is no England today, and 3) "Men of Harlech" was written in 1648. Point 1, I think we can all agree on. Point 3, the song was first written down in 1784. Point 2 ... that's just absurd.

a0e0roberts Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - "not an English person on these pages that has never" OK, I understand now. There's a reason I avoid double negatives. If you said "Every English person has heard of Boadicia" I would have said "I hope this is TRUE." I blame it on the cough syrup I'm taking. Cough, hack. ;)

manifestlyenglish Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - But Madogvalleyboy, the fact remains that the majority of soldiers in the regiment were englishmen, in spite of the moves to Brecon: by 1879 just 14% of the regiment were Welsh. To prove the point, there were only TWO Welshmen who were among the 11 soldiers awarded Victoria Crosses for the Rorke's Drift defence. But there were SIX englishmen (plus 1 Swiss, I Irishman, and 1 South African.)

jamie121290 Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - only in 1881 did they become a welsh regiment, and in 1879 during the battle of rorke's drift, there were very few welsh in the regiment. They were never always a welsh regiment, and thats the only bad point of the film.

a0e0roberts Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Hey JoTheWelder! Got a personal message from our little buddy BenAborrkowski. "you just dont have a clue and know nothing about history so stop reading comics and try learning about history as for punctuation im not interested in it lifes to short and take a look at your own messages and punctuation miss informed i can tolerate ignorance i cant men of harlech was written in 1640s about the bravery of the welsh soldiers holding out under siege in harlech castle during the war of the roses (cont)

a0e0roberts Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - (cont.)by the way it is also the longest ever lasting siege in british history here is so advice for you it is better to let the whole world think your an idiot rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt"Wow! Too good to keep to myself. I hope his history is better than his English. Sadly, Men of Harlech was first published in 1784 as March of the Men of Harlech in The Musical and Poetical Relicks of the Welsh Bards. Is benaborkowski pregnant? There is a missing period here...

JoTheWelder Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Hey Arsewipe aueuroberts, yes you wank stain, first of all who are you talking about? What are you saying boy? Whats with the attitude? Are you going to make any sense here or are you going to continue been the boring shit rag tosser that we all know you are.Men of Harlech? Quote where did i mention that?Pregnant? You carry on masturbating thats as close as youll ever get, yellow fat gutless peice of shit that you are.
