Oct 7, 2008 - you have to see the things as two seperate entities. rather than thinking of it as the film of the book, just try to see it as a film in it's own right. if you can't do that, try to see it as an homage to the book. i mean niel gaiman was on set almost every day, so he must have thought it was alright. i love both the film and the book!
