Whether someone agrees with the war or not, the soldiers deserve our gratitude for keeping us safe and ensuring our freedom. They willingly choose to protect us, so that we can have all the freedom we are enjoying today, including the freedom of speech - which some of these people on youtube seem to be abusing.

Oct 7, 2008 - If you have nothing good to say for our troups, don't comment. This isn't about whether the war is right or not, it's about showing our appreciation and support for the people who are defending us. My father, brother, and son all unselfishly gave of themselves to protect us and whether I (or anyone else) agree with the war or not, they deserve our appreciation and thanks.

Her message touched hearts, encouraged folks to give of themselves for the benefit of others. This Memorial Day, Lizzy's "Remember Me" will have had more impact than the hate here.
