In 1991, the allready corrupted government was struck down by the rise of global ideal of market-imperialsm ruled by the US. Although the soviet government failed, it doasn't mean the socialism itself did. Today is socialism unfortunately seen just as some utopist soviet dream to have been buried along with the soviet union. Genuine socialism is a non-national idea of a one-world ruled by universal justice.
