Nov 21, 2008 - i really dont know why people find this version funny. the uk version is SO MUCH FUNNIER than this version. they try too hard. the uk office doesnt push anything and makes it feel so real and people can relate to it. im no stranger to pure entertaining television, but ricky gervais got screwed over with this american version blowing up and all. thats all im saying.

Nov 21, 2008 - "Ricky Gervais got screwed by this version blowing up and all" Dont get me wrong the UK office as well as everything Ricky has ever done is the purest form of comedic genius there is... but i can watch this show subjectively and get enjoyment out of both... Gervais gained exposure in the US by winning globes and emmy's as an executive producer on this show and he has this version to thank for him breaking the US market... i dont think "screwed over" is a term he would use...
