Oct 7, 2008 - When I first saw it in 2003, my movie history teacher told us that 25% of the movie was missing, the missing parts were filled in with "inter-titles" explaning the missing images. But if some new parts of the movie have been discovered in Argentina, that's great news!! ^^

Oct 7, 2008 - yes, thats exactly what happened. i guess it means that there will be soon a new metropolis where you can see that those intertitles of the 2002 restauration are replaced by 80 year old images! also, some scenes which you already know, thanks to this discovery, will have more shots from different angles you didnt know existed. unfortunately not all shots of the movie are there, but most of it at least. i was lucky to see them at an exposition here in buenos aires
