Oct 7, 2008 - Typical Ceroc not in time with the music, thats why it fits to anything, they just rip off other dance styles e.g Jive salsa and now Ive even seen Tango Ceroc what ever next. People actually pay good money to learn this lol when there are far better Jive dance styles to be learnt.

Oct 7, 2008 - Ceroc is about fun more than anything else. I think you have to remember the point of what dancing is before going in with heavy attacks on Ceroc or the dancers themselves. I enjoyed watching this vid, and I think the dancers are very good.

Oct 7, 2008 - The dancers are crap.To an inexperienced eye they look good because of the fancy athletic moves. Their footwork and moves are completely out of synchronization with the music, to the extent that they can hardly be considered to be dancing.

Oct 7, 2008 - Yes it is fun, and I have to admit I do Ceroc, but this is not 'dancing' The sad part is that the people probably, think they are really good, while to an experienced Swing, Ballroom, or Contemporary dancer it verges on the comic.It's sort of like the film Strictly Ballroom, 90% of people don't notice that everyone in the film except Fran and Scott are dancing out of time, or the that the music is deliberately out of sync with the dancing.

Oct 7, 2008 - Or to put it another way, in the big band era, musicians used to amuse themselves trying to spot the 'rhythm dancers' who were actually dancing in time to the music.They reckoned it was about 1 in 10 couples.Most people think dancing in time to music is easy. It's not. Ceroc is fun and gives Joe Public the feeling that they are 'dancing' but the reality is without a lot of discipline you are never going to learn timing.
