bits and pieces taken from galaga 88. Repel the invaders from the Galagan kingdom. Galaga 88 was first ported to the PC Engine in Japan 1988, renamed Galaga 90 for the TurboGrafx. It was also ported to the Sega Game Gear soon after.. and only in 2005 was galaga 88 brought home to other consoles.

Oct 7, 2008 - From the looks of things, this appears to be easier than the arcade pcb iteration. Either that, or Single mode start is easier, unless I'm remembering it incorrectly. Can anyone confirm?

Oct 7, 2008 - You know, Digi-san, I'd sooner blast the heck out of the enemies during the "THAT IS GALACTIC DANCING" sections. I mean, they're just begging to be destroyed.Of course, you showed us what would happen if you didn't destroy them. Interesting indeed. So, being a pacifist does pay off a little in Galaga...at least this one. Heh.

Oct 7, 2008 - this makes me regret getting the VC Nes Original. Well Just for that, I am not Buying this version for my Virtual Console Library! Ha! Take that Nintendo of america! Honestly! They released Castlevania 4 before Castlevania 1, I hate it when they release the older first when they know which version had greater appeal! Like the Street Fighters, "Gee, should we release Turbo first or the Original...Duh!
