This is the new Novint Falcon device. It is a pointing device that allows 3D movement and gives the user feedback from 3D virtual objects. It is supposed to eventually cost less than $100

Jul 26, 2008 - Ehhh. That's kinda cool, but it doesn't seem that great for video games - that useful/cool. Is it only connectible to the computer? Or can you hook it up to the TV? Didn't like the commentator lady that much either.

SNESOWNZ Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - I would love to have this controller, but even though it IS good value, it's too expensive for MY wallet, so i guess im going to wait 'till the price drops a bit, like what happens with all technological devices. (i.e mem stick, you should watch the price drop in just a week :-O)

DamageIncM Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - OK, this thing is intriguing for shooters. But I'm not sure how this would work with the accuracy and such.Sure, the shooting might be QUITE (probably not pixel-) accurate. But how about the turning + aiming, it must be a simila principle to the dumb analog-sticks on consoles.Over-aiming and -turning all the time, maybe not as bad.But it still seems like it would be similar to that, which I would hate.
