Jul 7, 2008 - The girl is too naive and ignorant to represent us. The free burma is using her. Karen refugees are all economic and very few are political. They think the westerners are God.

sonofburma Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - agreed! agreed! that's what i was keep saying...

seinpan2007 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Yeah, I am fed up of these refugees saying things against their own people to get favor from their western god fathers. At the same time I am fed up of the generals. This is the last straw that they have handled the monks uprising. The time has come for military to go back to barracks for good.

sonofburma Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - well, at last, i found a person who really has an intend to reform beloved Burma... no more opportunists for Burma, pls...

wahwahkaren Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Karen people only believe in an almighty God who is the creator of the world. They ask for help from the Western to support their own people and many people who fled from the regimes. For example, Dr. Cynthia's clinic in Mae Sot becomes the reliable health care for all people from Burma regardless of their race or ethnicity but she needs help to run the clinic. Can she get help from the high school drop out generals? No....but the Westerns are helping the clinic to grow.

seinpan2007 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I admire Dr. Cynthia for her clinic in the border but karens and burmese cannot all be running to thailand for jobs and cynthia's clinic for health. All must work together to build up their own places where they are born. For that I will not support border clinics but help support the root cause at home area starting from Yangon and educating the generals as well as public. This girl zoya represents the ignorance of ethnic karens lost at the border and at the western lands.

seinpan2007 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - By the way there are not many americans going to church in US. They do not believe in the creator anymore. For that the church needs ignorant people from Asia to attend and give them donations. That is why they are recruiting refugees. Refugees miss their own land and culture as soon as they land US.

wahwahkaren Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - yes..that's why many refugees are still waiting at the camp hoping to go back to their land but the situation is getting worse in Karen, Kayah and Shan states. The military is doing ethnic cleansing. Who would want to come and work in other country while their country is full with natural resources. Only because they don't have a choice.

wahwahkaren Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I also agree with we should start from Rangoon since I am from there and also it is the key point for the trade via air or ship. It is not easy to do charity work in Rangoon. The business are run by the junta and if there is charity source, people will go there and their business will go down. The junta and business people allow certain level of charity but will never allow what Dr. Cynthia is doing now. I hope you will find the truth soon.

e15patman Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - since you about Myanmar? where can i go to research about all the economic details of the country

kawthoolei1 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Good one Zoya. Keep up your good work.

wahwahkaren Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - There is no source for economic issue regarding Burma since all money go to the regime. It is so funny that while I took the economic class, I could not find the reliable source about the economic report for Burma. It is so sad.

e15patman Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - that is so funny because i need the info for my econ class hahahaha for a research paper. as far as i know or perceived the government stopped accounting there government expenditures and the black market is just as big as there formal market.

rijew Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - ya, She's just a cry baby. She thinks she knows everything. Let me ask you Zoya, How about yours extremist soldiers killing their own (who were willing to negotiate and cooperate with Burmese Military)? Sister, when you are giving out information for your own good, please, try to learn how to give a fair and balance information to the audience. I don't follow your lie statements. Get a life!

rijew Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Well..There are many evidence that, Karan Army kill their own people who doesn't want to follow their way. Sis, why don't you ask your own bloody Karan soldiers to stop killing their own villagers? My advice to you is, why don't you start solving your own problem in your Karan Army first?

chefblanc Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - power to the the Monks, the devil will strike down the burmese junta and restore humanity to western standards, time for bush to step it up!!!

kko102 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - RijewYou should understand differences between regime troops and rebel troops because any rebel group in the world have minor mistakes but most regime in the world haven't make human rights abuse like your lovely brutal regime. Let your family live under that regime along their life. If you're pro-junta, say hello to king of Hell, follow them if you die like a dog in Burma.

Wunpawng Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - It is undeniable that all insurgents groups in Burma have killed civilians not just military government. But question is - who responsible the most! Any rational person would agree that military junta is to be blamed for various reasons. First, military soldiers committed crimes: rapes, theft civilians' properties, burnt villages etc. Second, refuse to discuss the issue with parties concerned. People don't have balanced news because of junta's repression! So, who do you think is telling - truth!

FreddyMcLovin Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - That Burmese girl is very attractive, I feel so sorry for her, knowing her family and friends are back in the current ruckus. Myanmar is such an interesting, and EXTREMLEY beautiful country, but behind all of that the dicatator ship plauges them. Hopefully she sees a happy ending.

FreddyMcLovin Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Whoever Americas next president is, I hope will make a crack down on Burma, and...

buddyfreakinholly Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I hope Bush and the U.S. has no part in it. He wants to bring a military presence there now that there was a cyclone that killed 22000 or more. We don't need a U.S. military presence in any more places. The U.S. interests are only political.

chefblanc Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - political- exactly thats the whole point, so have they imprisoned their priminister.. ? Poiltical....

buddyfreakinholly Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - The U.S. would like to help create a new constitution for them that is U.N. friendly. The powers that be want to diminish sovereignty of nations to form a league of nations....AKA one world government. And they even admit it. Death to the N.W.O.!

redhelldevil Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - she is doing just for getting a refugee visa!united even after military reign!no more opportunist!!!
