Aug 21, 2008 - You know fighting for your life has more variations than one might think. Nothing would be taboo. I rather not answer this question.

Aug 21, 2008 - Good concept...
Ckayt Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - But if the attacker runs up to me? In the first part of the video, attacker wasn't going at the victim full speed. What happens if a larger attacker runs up to me really fast?
d3hit Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Can't the taller person just slide their foot out as soon as they feel the pressure? They'd still get punched in the neck...but they wouldn't collapse I assume...
ChosonNinja Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - they probably will get poke in the throat.
ashthegreat Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Your technique is very good ChosonNinja, they all are. I was just wondering about this one, i wasn't trying to critisise you...

Aug 21, 2008 - I have watched many of your videos and I must say your techniques are very simple and easy to understand very well presented as a martial artist of 20 years I can say that even I can learn a thing or 2 from you Thanksthe difference between knowledge and wisdom.Knowledge is knowing what to say, wisdom is knowing how to say it.
HereorThere09 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Excellent technique, and perfect for shorter people like me! What is the old saying? The bigger they are, the harder they fall? Keep up the good work.
foxtrotcharlie42 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - actually i had not considered that (my appologies) also it was not my intention to discredit your technique, again i appologize. thank you for your reply.
ChosonNinja Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - no worries.
efficiency27 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - great video! it seems like all your students are tall. how tall are you? 5'9?
NakhitX Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - there are numerous possibilities as to what some one could do as a counter but none of that matters the point is you learn a defense instead of talking about all the possible could havs.
NakhitX Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - id just like to point out a couple of thing.one, a defense like that can be used against almost any one does not matter if he is taller then you or not. Two, not that it really matters but why was the tall person using a defense meant for defending against tall ppl lol :P
sprkymrt Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I also wondered about the tall person using the defense against the smaller one. The tall person may be the one teaching the technique, but it's easier to understand if the people are in the right positions.
ChosonNinja Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Thank you for your insult. I hope you don't mind if we are alot taller and also that your blocked.
slynaswe Says:

Aug 21, 2008 - Please make a video like this for basic kicking concepts.
Chingachgook12 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Erm...am I missing something? 5'9 is about average height, so I don't understand the "insult."
bostonangelgforce Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I do volunteer crimewatch patrolling and I don't carry weapons so I realy on self-defence. The throat poke does work very well even against a grab, it's nice to see realistic techniques demonstrated here. And remember MMA fans this technique isn't allowed in the ring (poke to the eye or throat) that's the difference between self-defence and sport.
GutZGator Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Chosen Ninja, If you were to fight Kimbo Slice how would you go about taking him out, I notice he gets down low and bobs and weaves and like to throw the uppercut, how do you counter this?
