Jul 7, 2008 - This guy seems really relaxed. You can see , whatever it is, is making him calm and happy. Cult or not, weather prayer or meditation.
9Crjsmy Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - anything genuinely peaceful, spiritual, etc.should not require one to be of a certain economic background. TM requires of one money - first, and foremost - before one is allowed to participate.if that isn't wrong, i don't know what is.imagine if Christ, or Ghandhi charged people to be involved in their sermons.
Mahingan Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Why do this type of meditation vs Zazen? or other meditation that has been proven over thousands of years. You may get stress free, but you wont get enlightened.

babainus Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Someone said it right it shouldn't cost $2500 save the BS, do it yourself, and yes it does work. It's good to learn it in a quite place, but once you've disciplined your mind by practice, you could be in times square and still do it and reap the benefit.... I did it my own, from what i learned growing up in India.... The Mantra - "OM" say it "INWARD" or "OUTWARD" and say it long.... "oooooooommmmm"simple and powerful....
dbrook4 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - i believe in tm the technique and all of it's benefits, however i don't believe it sholud be so expensive to learn, it seems the tm organisation has lost the run of themselves by charging such ridiculous amounts of money..tm the technique all the way, good work david!!

Jul 7, 2008 - Mr Lynch for President! What a much more peaceful place the world would be if everyone had the opportunity to 'just dive within', once or twice a day...there's nothing more elating and calming/stabilising....

AUInnocent Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Well, to be fair, its effects are really profound. And, it's a business as much as it is a technique, so they charge what they can get for it, which is a lot since rich corporations are willing to pay to increase worker productivity.
theonlycuregirl Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - you sound ignorant man...

Jul 7, 2008 - Having meditated myself, the description @ about four minutes is pretty accurate.
capricious71 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - TM might be a rip-off but I don't think meditation should be disregarded because of that. $2,500 for a mantra. I agree, that's crazy.
