Jul 7, 2008 - There was NOTHING like being in the audience, and hearing the start of this tune. You knew that you were fixing to be in for one hell of a show. God I miss Maynard.. Thanks for posting this.

Jul 7, 2008 - Man..Carl sounds great as usual. And you meet a more humble guy than him either.

Jul 7, 2008 - What a night that was! I was in the front row. We all had tears in our eyes. Maynard really is the one and only. Still missing him so much.

Jul 7, 2008 - Was that Wayne on the squeal part around 3:00? Awesome stuff!

TrumpetBoredom Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - No, Wayne is playing the section part there... it is the guy to his left (screen right).

shaunzietrpt Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - It is Roger Ingram playing that part. Wayne does the end.

Jul 7, 2008 - and what a space cadet roger isboy can he play, but he is really out therean old teacher of mine told me stories that Roger would play a gig playing so high fast and loud it was crazy, then go into the warm-up room and lie down (face up) in a corner and just stare at the ceiling until the next gig later that night.but hey, what ever helps you play well, power to ya.lol

mynamisdan Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - yeah...roger ingram is an eccentric dude. monster player.

mynamisdan Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - i love most of wayne's stuff...but i have to say, there is something anti-climactic about his playing, it's a little too clean from my taste.

jzzmn1816 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - let's be honest, Wayne makes his living doing commercial stuff. Obviously his live of playing requires him to be consistent and totally clean. I think this quality of his playing also unwantingly pours into other aspects of his playing, such as with the Maynard Ferguson and the tribute band. Nevertheless, he's a dynamite player who will deliver pretty much anything put in front of him.

karen06357 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - wayne is a great lead player who plays in that tradition. roger ingram is also a great player who plays with a fatter sound. this dvd was fantastic. can not get enough of it.ERIC IS A BEAST. MY FAVORITE. STAN LOOKS LIKE HE IS LOST IN THE MEMORYS. MIKE R.

steevojackass Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Wayne Bergeron has a much much bigger sound than RogerRoger is a great screamer no doubt, but he does not have a big huge sound..it's loud but it's like a laser-beam, hahahe sounds great, but yeah he has a very direct sound as opposed to large and FAT
