Thats not to say his voice was better x years ago than now, personally i think if you compare early to muse to current muse they are much more mature. Some might say theyve lost their stage energy (they dont smash gear up as much as they used to) but the band is definately maturing and improving as time goes by.

Oct 10, 2008 - He can its just that on the record he uses faulsetto because he coudlnt get as high without it as he can now. I'd say what happened was he got better at singing so his normal range of singing (without faulsetto) has expanded. But i do think the original is better.

Oct 10, 2008 - nahhh that maturing thing is crap.I'm a singer and i know that this song is VERY hard to sing at its original form, so, just to save his voice a bit for the rest of the show, he just sings it lower... i prefer to original too. but Im sure hes still able to sing it as 8 years ago... his voice didnt changeg ?!?!? and everyone knows that every singer never sounds as good as on record...
