jacops Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - The thing that everyone seems to forget is that these guys are getting old aswell and James won't get his voice back because it isn't as young as it was back then.

fieryfrets2000 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - they cant cuz james voice is deep and if they did itll sound weird

longhorns6610 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - i actually think it sounds better slower, but thats just me.

maluuntheboon Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - james told in an interview that the new album will be in e tuning and they will play live in e again

jphdoc Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - i like this version, metallica are always good live

jckfrd33 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - im not too good with alternate tunings, they said they play this song now in an e sharp, whats the difference between the normal tuning and this tuning?

krakhaid Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - It's one half step lower, basicaly one note. It can make some songs sound heavier, but I think this song sounds better in regular tuning.

SamHalen5150 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Metallica always tunes down to Eb when they play live because its easier for James to sing to it (believe it or not)

kmvoss Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - What a fun song. I'd love to hear it live.

buprenorphed Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - All the metallica songs from the first 4 albums are in normal tunin. But when playing live, they dune all the strings down half a step (e flat i believe rather than sharp) because its easier to sing without forcing the voice so much (listen to young het on the recording of this song lol, no way can he do that now)But basically its the same tuning, but the 3 fret sounds like the second would on normal tuning and the 1st fret sounds like an open string etc, so an open string sounds even lower.

gangstasimba69 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ekinsb Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - its hella slow. speed up!

wisesatyr72 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - its the same speed as the CD playing

bRain524 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - Sounds great!!

VOSTFR Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - No, it's not. The CD is slightly faster. When the video begins you can hear something sounds wrong: the riff was meant to be played faster.

benharper1977 Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - it's better the original version with dave mustaine!

JediSSJ Says:

Oct 10, 2008 - the cd is faster but does it make a dif they are playing one of their greatest songs lol
