Jul 7, 2008 - Europe needs a real space program!!!!
RazielDArc Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Yeah Europe should be the first peacefull union to make a new space station to lets say moon or mars where tourists, scientist, etc could go study the nature of moon, space or the universe itself.

Jul 7, 2008 - I agree!
grantscharoff Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Yes, subsidies on farming are too much. A reform is needed exactly right there!I agree about R&D. We need more money allocated there! And also - entrepreneurial education for children.
punkistz Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - yup. I AGREE.
artkozak Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Why do you have to make these video's so dull? I love the EU, but noone is going to watch this video and say: Wow! I love the EU. This channel lacks real ideas and talents.

Jul 7, 2008 - Research and education is what I think is most important!Knowledge is power!
Kloppy86 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Force Germany into an education reform! We call ourself "The nation of poets and thinkers" and have an educational system, which is completely embarrassing! If you look at PISA, you know what I'm talking about. Almost as bad as the USA. No wonder China is taking away our econimic power if the Chinese are smarter than us.
grayabc1234 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I just want a budget that auditors (like myself) would actually sign off. The Court of Auditors have refused to sign off the EU accounts for 10+ years due to fraud and irregularities. If a private company did this, it would go out of business, but the EU gets away with it. I don't want my hard earned tax money being thrown into the back pockets of incompetent eurocrats.
Mortarattack Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Science and technology need to get the lion's share, cause this is what matters for the futureThe CAP subsidies need to be abolished, and agricolture market liberalized!
icebear317 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Subsidies for the agricultural sector should be reduced because only a small percentage of the work force is working in this sector. We should abolish trade barriers and give the third world a chance instead.
ViriathusVingathor Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - i would lower investements in agriculture. And invest in our industry, and high tech. And also reforms in the education, witch is horrible in many EU countries, less methodic, more open, more patient to the ones that have more problems.I would also invest,in a EU anti corruption departement, independent of the EU commission, and anonimous, with its own police force and jurisdiction to see how the EU funds are being invested, concerning any move in any european governement, and in the EU commission.
cyrkx Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - EU should cut spending, lower taxes and stop interfere in free market or will end as USSR. Since my country Poland joined Union the fastest growing industry became beggary with hundreds of new firms specialized in obtaining "allowance aid" from EU funds, its not the best way to build rich, enterprising society. EU should also stop this nonsense with one centralized currency. Even in one country its better to have few competing currencies.
nicholasraymond Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Lower the CAP and get rid of the CFP. If Britain left the EU we would be a lot better of!
aniaf1000 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - grayabc, in reality most of the money coming from the EU budget is spent directly by the member states, not by the EU institutions - the member states should be considered accountable for thatI believe we need innovation to keep Europe competitive, money should be put into research + we need cooperation in R&T!
odonnelljp Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - thats all well and good but when countries like brazil ban exports of food to keep local price inflation down what are you going to eat a lap top maybe or a hard drive
eMJeyCGN Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - more money for research!!
