Jul 7, 2008 - what is a good asio sound card? other than the scratch live (which is kinda expensive, but awesome!). can you (or any one) give me a good website or something to get a usb sound card with two RCA outputs. that'd be great! Thanks!

socross Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Get the maya 44 USB - it's a great card I've used myself, and it only costs about 150.

manicbassa Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Why do i need turntables? Will i be using vinyl?Sorry im new to all this :-(

socross Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - You don't need vinyl, but this setup allows you to control the mp3's as if they were on the vinyls. Some DJ's prefer the level of control this gives them over the music.

Y0uTub3rMega Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - thanks for the info (^_^)ps.I know ur not into scratching but... would u happen to know where to get the "waah" sound? just curious if u know.Thanx again!

jlo78ho Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - ok so i have a m-audio sound card and torq vinyls will this all run on VIRTUAL DJ or not

socross Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I don't know which card you have, but assuming it has two stereo inputs and supports ASIO, then the sound card should work. The latest version of VDJ should support any timecoded vinyls, but I've only tried serato vinyls so I'm not sure if the torq ones will work.

MeltedSOX Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - can a gemini cdm 3600 could work with virtual dj if i use a maya 44 usb sound card or the serato Scratch live sound card

socross Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Nope, that won't work. The cd players are hooked up to the mixer internally. You need to hook up the cd players to the sound card first, then to the mixer.

WNxRadeon Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - can I use my CDJ's for it?

MeltedSOX Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - oh so i will have to get a mixer similar to yours..am i correct...
