Oct 11, 2008 - Are you kidding? You actually agree with this teaching? The prosperity gospel teaches that if you come to Jesus Christ you will prosper. That is idolatry, that is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ! You come to Jesus Christ for righteousness, not for happiness. Please study your bible. -Jacob

holyroller7 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - You are misunderstanding prosperity teaching. In 3 John verse two, John writes " Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest PROSPER and be in HEALTH, even as thy SOUL PROSPERETH". This is the prosperity they teach and it comes from the Word of God!!!!

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - That's what so terrible about it. It's being sent out from the US to all nations, including the poorest. People are being taught that God wants them rich, that their babies won't die, their animals won't get sick, etc. if they have enough faith. Then they eventually get let down and fall away because they have come to Christ for the wrong reason (idolatry). You have no idea how much harm this false teaching is having on this world, even right here in the US! I hear and see it it all the time!

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I disagree, I don't think it's mocking praise, it's mocking prosperity preaching. It's using sarcasm to make a statement that needs to be made. I'm outraged at this false teaching of idolatry which has been sent out from the US to the rest of the world and has resulting in so much harm.

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - That's "dominion theology" and I'm glad to read you call it blasphemous.

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - You're missing it. They're teaching that God wants EVERYONE to ALWAYS be rich & in perfect health. That's clearly idolatry. The worst part is that the poor (here & throughout the world) are being taught that God will make them rich, their babies & animals won't get sick or die, & they only need to have faith. That's a lie. Then they get let down & fall away, crushed. You see, God uses sickness & tough times to draw us to Him & glorify Him by looking to Him & glorifying Him in the midst of it.

Oct 11, 2008 - OK ChristineRemix,,Who gets healed in coplands,F.Price and the rest of the name it and claim it crew?Hey I beleive in Healing,But the Jokers you are speaking up for dont have that blessing either,Peter said silver and gold we have not ,,But get up and walk.

sidebarr7 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - See Peter was not money rich ,But Spiritually Rich with healing in his walk. Most So-Called christians today are doped into stupidness.Bunch of RE-TARDS,and trolls.

ThanxALott Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Very funny!...and sad at the same time. I would venture to say that most people who believe in the 'prosperity' gospel are poor.

mauricepeyton Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Yeah. What about those people have the faith, but live their entire lives under what we would call the worst of circumstances. Guess faith didn't work too well for them

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Faith in what? If they have faith in Jesus Christ, they will spend eternity with their Creator and be rewarded for their faith in eternity... A lot better than anything they could get in this short, insignificant life!

mauricepeyton Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Guess they missed that part then. All they hear is faith in Christ will get they a new house or a benz with 17 in rims or thousands of dollars. That's all I was saying.

toddtyszka Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - OK, I thought you were saying faith (God) let them down. The prosperity pimps would say that the individual didn't have enough faith. The truth of the matter is God may have been blessing them by not giving them money and stuff. Money could have been a distraction or have led them away from God. Look at all the lotto winners who end up carnal and broke! Eternity matters a lot more than stuff on earth!

stant6 Says:

Marialash Says:

John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 1 Corinthians 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Oct 11, 2008 - I know I posted my comment, which got blasted, but the things is, this is just a poorly made video and I think we have much more important things to do.I know I'll get blasted for this comment as well.

exPOnEntial7 Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I couldn't stop laughing, when I saw this - this is brilliant! Especially with the send up of "Let Everything That Has Breath" and "I Will Sing Of Your Love Forever". Ha ha!!!Where can I get those 24k replica chains of Silas and Paul?

Marialash Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Poorly made? Man, it's great! I saw it many times, and it's getting better every time! Wish the Prosperity preachers happen to see this!

Marialash Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - O, now I know why you don't like this: you preach prosperity at your channel!!

nigelum Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I preach it with pride!!! I'm not ashamed of the blessings that I have putting Christ first in my life and when the times get bad, I still look to him who is ever present in my everyday existence. If you are against the preachers who treat God like a vending machine, I'm right there with you, but if you are trying to tell me that being a "good Christian" means that I need to be poor, then I will respectively disagree.

nigelum Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - By putting Christ first and having faith, we are blessed (prosperous) in abundance and when that is the case, we are supposed to share that abundance with others...being a light on the stand...a shining example that we are an anointed people who's faith is unshakable in the worst of times...and modern religion (for the most part) has lost that relationship.I know I'm probably preaching to the wrong crowd, but I'm thankful that I'm preaching to a crowd that is saved through Christ.

Rhrodron Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - This is parodying "pastors" who say that being a Christian means that you will always be healthy and wealthy, and it'd be a good idea to give some cash contributions for insurance. They would say that "times getting bad" shows that something is wrong with your faith. So yes, these are the preachers who are treating God (or rather, their viewers and their donations) as a vending machine.

Marialash Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - I learned a lot of Paul Washer (sermons here on YouTube). He prays: God, if You can take more glory for Yourself, when I am sick, then lét me be sick. If Your Name will be more glorified when I am healthy, that heal me. The same thing with being poor/rich. I like that! It is all about glorifying God's Name! By the way, the bible is quite clear about giving. (when you have 2 coats, give one away etc.)
