Didn't they invent the mouse? Apple has a long history of setting industry standards and the iPhone will almost certainly do the same due to its Apple interface that historically has been superior to any other. Remember, Windows was and is nothing more than a copy of Apple OS, and a bad copy at that.

But I could have answered the question better by bringing up the history of Apple's inventions and how it will play a huge roll in the phone market. The interviewer was perfect for his argument. He asked, tell me what the iPhone can do? The guy just said...its innovative!? C'mon, if your an Apple fan sell the phone with your experience from a mac! :)

(his inference) And what does that have to do with this topic? There are so many computer companies that Apple is merely a mid-level computer sales company. Not irrelevant at all, especially because it has a tenacious niche.
