Oct 11, 2008 - The screen on my curve cracked the other day, but it is just the outer glass. I wanted to know how far I have to go to replace it? is it just the faceplate or all the way to the bezel? thanks.

Oct 11, 2008 - Thank you! My 8800 broke and I was able to isolate the problem to the sensor beneath the trackball. I had no idea what it was attached to and what parts I needed to fix it. The good news is that I know what I need. Bad news. It's a motherboard. Thanks again.

Oct 11, 2008 - I just dropped my curve in the bathtub and the screen started blinking. I took it apart and dried everything. So far so good.

Oct 11, 2008 - To clean the screen a T5 torx driver is required. To remove the LED, a T6 torx driver is needed.

Oct 11, 2008 - has no one heard of a warranty? good video though for people who want a project
pdaparts Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - This is good for all people because when you drop and break it then the warranty DOES NOT cover the damage so now it is out of warranty...replacement parts are available at PDAparts(dot)com

Oct 11, 2008 - hey i just got the blackberry curve and i love it...but im the type of person that cant get anything on my phone like scratches etc... so i got a lttle dust in the inside screen of it...do u have any ideas on how to get rid of it?
pdaparts Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - The only way to get the dust out of the screen is open it and remove it which will void your warranty by the way.

Oct 11, 2008 - hey. i just got my blackberry 3 weeks ago and i cracked the screen. not the lcd but the front screen is cracked. is this video for that??
pdaparts Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - Yes this will help you to take apart the unit down to the shell. It sounds like you cracked the outside plastic I assume.
divinesoul03 Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - thanks for the video but what is the name of the screw driver you are using? I want to make sure I don't order the wrong one.
pdaparts Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - That is a Torx. You can get a Torx set at PDAparts(dot)com. Lookup part number XX1127
