Jul 26, 2008 - Best video of all time! Why? Cause when I saw these guys for the umpteenth time in the early 80's this video was played behind the band and I swooned to the images rather than the band. Nuff said.... Images vs live. shuddup///

Jul 26, 2008 - One of those videos that is so well-shot that it sits crystal-clear in your memory for years and years. ^^;; Fantastic, and thanks for sharing!~

Jul 26, 2008 - I love this song, but doesn't this seem like early hair metal in a way? Especially with the overall editing style of the video (i.e. the band's over the top performance, closeups of the girl's lips or the spinning door). None of this is meant as a knock on the song or anything, and I'm a big '80s music fan. It's just that I could see Bon Jovi or Poison doing something like this...which isn't a bad thing.

Jul 26, 2008 - This is the video that got MTV in some trouble as being a source that promotes SEX.Hmmm I think it really supports tight...yum,you know.....hehehe

Jul 26, 2008 - A buddy of mine roadied one of Cheap Trick's club shows back in the mid-1980s. He said they were just about the nicest, most down-to-earth group of guys you'd ever meet, especially Robin Zander.

Jul 26, 2008 - They are. I roadied for them in the early 90s. First show was at the Riverside Convention center, the second at the Bren auditorium in Irvine. Great guys.Ricks 5 neck guitar almost broke my back.....friggen heavy.Their manager was a prick though. Ask your friend about a note some chick named Porque wrote on one of Rick's road cases
whirleygal Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Yup great guys! I was an FM jock who had the pleasure of interviewing the guys during a remote broadcast from a county fair. I was invited on the tour bus and being offered cookies from Rick, & pop from Robin. Ditto on the comments about their manager.

Jul 26, 2008 - I was, and wife, so pleased to see Cheap Trick at the Rhode Island faux Casino. They were great...scary how good they were. My brother in-law worked backstage at a different show in RI and commented on how down to earth they are. Just a great band and nice guys.

Jul 26, 2008 - All five are different. One's a fretless, one's a vibrato (tremolo), one's a 12-string, one's a single coil pick-up like a Telecaster and the fifth is a double humbucker.It's practical in that it serves its purpose as a crowd-pleaser.
