Oct 11, 2008 - i have a HORRIBLE case of hypoglycemia which does a number on my body. about a year ago, i was passing out every 2-4 hours if i didn't eat something with a natural sugar in it. sorry guys but this girl either has something else wrong with her which causes her to hyperventilate or she is faking it. i'm almost sure its not a seizure, because unless its an atonic seizure (head drop), they do the opposite of creating inhalation spasms. they cut off the air cause the throat muscles tighten.

Oct 11, 2008 - yea...i have the same issue. there are different stages and levels of intensity for hypoglycemia, and i have the worst possible kind. its to the point now where it knocks my hormone level out of balance, i am pre-diabetic, prone to ovarian cancer and possibly unable to have children. but nothing like this has ever happened to me, and i have passed out A LOT because of this problem. it actually pisses me off that she is using it for attention. thats like faking breast cancer in my opinion.

Oct 11, 2008 - no i don't doubt she is hypoglycemic. not because she said she is, or "tried" to "act" like she is but because its common. a lot of people have it and don't even realize it. do you know anyone who becomes irritable if they haven't eaten for a while? in its most mild form, that is how hypoglycemia can present itself. no passing out happens. and yet, the person is still suffering from a medical problem. so i agree, she could in fact be hypoglycemic. however, she could also be drama queen.
