Aug 20, 2008 - "science will come up with some reason to put in the books but in the end it will be just a theory" ummm wtf is this movie pushing that intelligent design BS?
Wjrchadwick Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - The story's crap, the acting is rubbish, the dialogue is weak, the intrigue is low, there is a lack of direction and is unentertaining. I thought that The Village was better than Signs on record.

Aug 20, 2008 - strangely enough, i agree with your comment. it isn't a very good movie, extremely middle of the road. i would give it a 5, but that's a negative rating on my system and I JUST BARELY liked it. i know i shouldn't be recommending it, but I think it's better to be honest, even if everyone will thinks differently.

Aug 20, 2008 - movie was bad. i think they expected it to being a movie that people took seriously. a movie where people sat and told themselves "holy shit" but honestly it was so stupid, i laughed. in my opinion, this was sick, disturbing comedy. simply because it sucked so bad you just had to laugh. i mean come on, a fucking lion, haha those short comedy clips throughout the movie were the only good thing about this movie

Aug 20, 2008 - The end was random. The whacko old lady ruined it for me. I was like: "Okay, this is just ridiculous. Please be over soon."

Aug 20, 2008 - Wharlberg acted well? He was so over the top childish in the way he talked, why? it was like he was talking to elementary kids the whole movie.
Ravendb Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - The ending definitely seemed to be phoned in. It was like M. Night was tired of writing and just tried ending it as soon as possible.
Coats182 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - best 3 parts in to whole movie1. the lion eating the guy2. the old lady bashing her face on the windows.3. the kid getting shot in the head.

Aug 20, 2008 - Honestly? I went and saw this movie the night after it opened - I spent $8.50 on a movie ticket.I wanted my money back. And my 91 minutes. The plot was bad. The acting was terrible -- I couldn't care less if those characters died -- I actually WANTED them to near the end. Totally not worth the trouble. There wasn't even a twist, which is what Shyamalan is known for.TERRIBLE. So terrible it was a joke that kept me laughing. So see it if you want a laugh, not a scare.

dolphinsfan991 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - i think that this movie had a very good story to it and very good cinematography but it lacks script and acting and you can count on this movie being spoofed in another movie;the part i thought that had the worst acting is the beginning where the only person who was a girl was like did you hear that, why are those people clawing at themselves, omg is that blood!

Aug 20, 2008 - its a good movie for MST3K. the basic plot: humans finally outnumber trees and they feel threatened. so they decide to kill off a few hundred of us....
sjsully Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - The dialogue was ridiculous. The acting was odd; one gets the feeling that the actors stood around and said, "do we really have to say this?" I agree that Mark Wahlberg did a great job. At times I think he was having fun, knowing full well that this movie was in the tank. Umm, not much else to say. I laughed out loud a few times... that was definitely worth the price of the ticket.
