Aug 20, 2008 - What's that? Is she singing in Japonese??? Oh!!Although I don't understand a single word, I think she could have sung a little faster... like the original!

kilgoretrout02 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - The best version is Bob Dylan's version, by far. There's so much emotion there; I personally weep every single time I hear it. Absolutely fucking beautiful. Superbly Excellent. AWESOME, but the violin solo is cool in this one, though its still not as good as the Bob Dylan's version. The original one. It's good.

Aug 20, 2008 - i was wondering the same thing!

Aug 20, 2008 - What's the point in doing a cover if you are going to do an exact copy of the song? BTW 0:40 Teacher from Battle Royal, cool guy.

carlosmurray Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - What's the point in doing a COVER if you are NOT going to do an exact copy of the song?

sanaman666 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - these cover is really bad!!!animal for the win

F00dTube Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Heh, you are supposed to give a counterargument not say the opposite of what I'm saying. ^_^ But I'll answer you anyway. The point is that you add a different perspective to the song. Otherwise you might as well just play a record of the original.

carlosmurray Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Ok, I understand your point and partially agree with you.But everything I said is: faster the song would sound even better. A different perpective to the song could've been "only" her voice, her band and her language.

weeduggy Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - To appeal to their key demographic? There is no point in doing a cover if your target audience doesn't understand a single word. It's a great cover, you are ignorant.

2007Sgt Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - You have to understand the language and culture to grasp the affect of this. It is a very good rendition.

TheDriverr Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - A tad depressin, i fear - sorry

Sephiroth21682 Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - The animals is centered on rock. This is Anka, a popular genre of music in Japan. For the older Japanese, this kind of music can be more appealing than rock.

Aug 20, 2008 - New Orleansの娼婦館の絵も見えるけど吉原の高級女郎屋でうちひしがれたひとりの女の姿にも見える...この5分の曲中でひとりの女の本物のドラマを観たかのようです

kcnccarolina Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - Wow she was becoming the song, she reminded us the song was about a brothel, neat trick. Great voice & backup music. This song always stuns an audience, it's hypnotic.

sensordev Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - The actress Helena Modjeska would sometimes entertain visitors with a moving performance performance in Polish, often bringing them to tears. Afterward she'd reveal that what she'd done was recite the Polish alphabet. Same level of acting talent at work here, though the gripping in its own right song offers considerable aid in establishing her inner creation. Most impressive.

gogogadgetspoon Says:

Aug 20, 2008 - that was class...
