This is a compilation of Koopa outtakes that I couldn't bear to delete so I spliced them together instead. I question my sanity after having watched how I behave around that silly little turtle! Oct 11, 2008 - Hi, Koopa is really cute...and fast !! I have an Eastern Box turtle named Woody.I've had him for over 20 years !! Koopa looks real heathy ! You might consider getting his beak trimmed down alittle bit though.Turtle beaks are like fingernails.He may grow that upper beak to a point where it becomes difficult for him to eat. For Woody I used a demel tool to sand and reshape it. It's not easy but he'll be glad you did.

Oct 11, 2008 - Not my video, but it is a box turtle, which I also have. Harder to take care of than tortoise (big desert ones) because they need 50%protein (worms, slugs, snails, etc.) and most refuse cat and dog food, unfortunately.

Oct 11, 2008 - one of my three turtles did grab my upper lip once as I put my nose to her's. Terrified me - if I pulled away, would she tear it off? I crouched down to the ground to give her a chance to get back on the floor, and luckily she let my lip go to walk away. What a lesson (she was a grouchy type to begin with)
