Jul 7, 2008 - You can set both foot pads to Bass-Drum, for doubble-bass.But you have to set your Hi-Hat pad to either open or closed. orY splitter might work??Thanks for viewing.

Jul 7, 2008 - People that live in a flat and don't have place to put a drumset in their room. People that have neighbors especially those that have small children. People that want to controll midi stuff for recording, people that play at weddings so that the guest can actually talk to eachother. People that want to practice when they're going on vacation. People that can't afford a set. It's better to play this than spend money on a 500 quid basswood set. + it has complete percussion sounds - latin music

Jul 7, 2008 - I know this has nothing to do with the video, but I just couldn't help ask: Is that a Nintendo DS on the table beside you? Oh, and by the way, despite what everybody else says, I think your really good at that! I've wanted drums ever since I was in 5th Grade! Unfortunately, I can't get them because I'm only 16. I like the idea of setting them up together! Thanks for inspiring me to get drums and be in band next year.
IBREEL Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I'd have to agree with the other guys comments. In todays world its a practical thing to have access to a drum kit thats compact and has a volume control. The sounds on the Yamaha DD65 are pretty respectable, a few more models down the road and i think we'll be seeing a drum machine that sounds better than an acoustic kit. Imagine being able to turn up for a gig and shift your gear in one load!

Jul 7, 2008 - Some ppl are sooo Stupid. If this guys chooses to buy a dd-55 drum machine regardless of what else he may or may not be able to afford, then thats his choice. They key to all equipmet is get what works for you, and work Hard at your craft.

Jul 7, 2008 - I have a question. How can you make a double bass pedal from those cheap plastic pads. Can it be done like this?I'm assuming that the hihat pedal and the bass drum pedal are the same thing.Getting a Y splitter and plug it in where the bass pedal goes, and then just take the hihat pedal and the bass drum pedal and plug it in the Y splitter? Would it work?
