I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO THE '60s AND THE '70s!!!!!!!

bluespower Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - nice tribute to sky dog thanx

bnilo Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - That's correct! Legend has it that Duane himself said he had a dream about Jimi shorty after Hendrix passed and wrote Little Martha during his dream. Woke up and grabbed his guitar...Any truth to it? Who knows, but I've heard this more than once. In any event...GREAT song!!!

bobmostwanted Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - whys he say dedicated to a brother?

bnilo Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - As in the Allman brothers Band. They were all "brothers" but that last pisture is Duane with his bro Greg.......

guitarist213 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - the story is that jimi played this song on the sink faucet. he then recorded the song in october of the next year for Eat A Peach.

bnilo Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - guitarist213....I've never heard that story...but not saying it isn't true. I've been a Hendrix freak for over 40 years now and from all I've read and studied, I've never heard that "sink" story. FACINATING if true! May I ask where you read/heard about it? Thanks...and Cheers!

Oct 6, 2008 - Trivia: Greg Allman and Dicky Betz stay in touch with Dixie and her husband Mike. This was written for Dixie before Duane was killed. He was a great talent, not finished with his music yet.
