Oct 6, 2008 - Therefore, the birthday (Milad) of the Holy Prophet (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him) deserves to be celebrated then the celebration of any other event. In case we would not be grateful to Allah Almighty for his favor, which is Muhammad (Allah's Grace & Peace be upon Him). He will punish us severely.

Oct 6, 2008 - Good words actually even thought we can can have some remarks. But Allah SWT is great and forgiver.

Oct 6, 2008 - deen21 - Subhanallah, didn't you know that Imam Malik (the founder of maliki madhhab) (raa) himself said, and I'll say it in Arabic : Man tafaqqaha wa lam yatasawwaf faqad tafassaq, wa man tasawwafa wa lam yatafaqqah faqad tazandaq, wa man jamaa baynahuma faqad tahaqqaq. Meaning that you need both Sharia n' Tariqa in order to arrive to the True Essence of God. So, it is clear Tasawwuf is nothing new. As a matter of fact, what do u think our prophet did in the cave of Hira? Wasn't it to meditate?

Oct 6, 2008 - Celebrating the prophets (pbuh) birthday is bidat....and is NOT a part of islam. You should remember the prophet (pbuh) on a daily basis and none of the prophets followers at his time celebrated the prophets(pbuh) birthday and it was only 400 years after the death of the prophet(pbuh) in Egypt that so called Muslims introduced this act. This is not part of the the sunat of the prophet and is a addition to Islam. Islam is a pure religion which Allah has perfected there is nothing missing from it
