Oct 6, 2008 - I don!t like the Beatles that is the music of the bad brain!s kids, but this Lennon songYah Blues performed with Clapton,Richard and Michel,is so cool and heavy ,very beautiful British rock!n roll! God save UK !

Oct 6, 2008 - The late great Johnny Ace!!! Once in a lifetime a soul like this appears, the "poof" the dream is over..Was it just a dream? Seemed so real to us.

buzonperiodista Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Sorry dood, but no one in history has been able to sing a song like John Lennon, who means every single word in it.

TubeGunner Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Cool. I've never heard this altertake take, but it's cool too. The Beatles version is still meaner and more intense than either of these, (both Lennon's vocals and the cruching guitar riffs of that version) but thanks nonetheless. Right on.

robin14669 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - And Keith Richards on bass!

tpfogarty Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Lennon was the key to the Beatles.

rodcrippler Says:

JokerishDish Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - and Mitch Mitchell on drums!!

beatlesguru Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - I first heard this take in college on a bootleg - late 1993. I thought then and still think it howls!!! What a supergroup. The Beatles version is grungier and tighter, but this KICKS ASS. I'd have chosen this take over the one selected for Rock 'n Roll Circus, 'cause it's better instrumentally. I guess they chose the other one 'cause Lennon doesn't slip up on the "I am of the universe" lyric.

franciscovaldevez Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Mitch Mitchell is the best drummer ever!!!!

jannybeatle Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - eric clapton es taaaaaaaaaaannn sexy....hasta sus manos lo son :P

Oct 6, 2008 - Kinda cool with the multi camera angles. A keeper for me Beatles YouTube collection.

dsbuchalter Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - This ROCKS! Love the multi-view. And What a terrific song!

dsbuchalter Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Clapton esta!? No lo se!

jimiclones Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Great song, cool grungy performance. That camera work seems to be really uncoordinated. Each one is all over the place, sometimes filming the exact same thing, sometimes three cameras on Keith Richards, panning in and out ramdomly it seems. What a mess. Cool to see it all though!

jannybeatle Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - si , es el que tiene chompa color rojo y una camiseta naranja!!! :)

dsbuchalter Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - gracias! que grupo magnifico-- especialmente con esta combinacion de musiciones! Clapton toque tambien en "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," no?

dsbuchalter Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Those triplets around 2:55 are soooo cool! It takes a lot of guts to play a kind of repetitive solo like that-- to just let the syncopation to the speaking for you-- it's not the technical skill that makes it rock but the genius of knowing that playing THAT there will make the song totally ROCK!

TJamesBell Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - Wow! I didn't know there even was a 2nd take. I don't think it's as good as the first take they used in the film, and Clapton's solo isn't as scorching, but it's interesting. Thanks for the post.

rgbyboi9999 Says:

Oct 6, 2008 - not really... i would take mccartney, redding, john paul jones, entwistle, or even jimi hendrix or jimmy paige before i would even think of keith richards. nothing against his guitar... mad fucking guitarist
