Everyone here acts like moving isn't part of his technique; If I were to go solely on these comments I would thi nk his moving was simply theatric and he did it only for the sake of the viewer. But he never moves in the same way every performance, and he certainly never plays 100% the same every time. In my opinion, moving helps him feel the music, sort of like closing your eyes and memorizing a piece helps you listen to what you play.
