mumoosir Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Theres no way he's comin out of camp as the number 3 after Jones played so well last year, fitting the offensive scheme perfectly. Rodgers like throwing the quick slant to the inside (as evident in the cowboys game) and thats what Jones did the entire last season. Packers do like to run the 5 wide set with Lee, and Jennings, Jones, and Nelson have a huge deep threat with them. Packers are gonna be smokin', and now pig-tailed-viking, pansy-az-lion, or shlt-nosed bear can stop em.

Jul 26, 2008 - Don't hate on a white receivers... And again Wes Welker is the real deal suck it down pussy's. Sorry that the white receivers are willing to go across the middle and take a hit. Earn your pay check bitches. Suck it down. Jordey worked hard for all he got. Skinny white kid out of Riley County puttin in work to take hits and work on his hand is something no black guy of the whole state of Kansas did in the last 7 years. GIVE PROPS WHEN PROPS ARE DUE.
wayneylin Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - jordy could be ahead of jones on the depth chart by the end of the season. jones is good, but there is a reason nelson was taken at the top of the 2nd and james jones was taken in the mid 3rd. nelson is more talented. whether it translates to the nfl field is anyone's guess, but i definitely think nelson jordy has a chance. they both have excellent hands, but nelson is bigger, faster, and better after the catch.

Jul 26, 2008 - thondo23.. wait just one minute!! Are you for real! Theyr'e black people in Kansas? Learn something new every day I guess.
bertcake Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - thondo23 ... Are you kidding me? I could not believe what you said. Blacks living in Kansas! On the field or court, yes, but come on!
illradio Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - search youtube for jordy wearing #4
Iluvgrunge Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Welcome to the Pack
Linkfishness Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Aqib Talib couldn't even remotely hang with this kid, it wasn't one play. Jordy caught 10 passes for 137 yards and a TD. In fantasy football terms, he had a career day for some WRs, but a average one for himself that season.
biebeljuice20 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - WHITE BOY CAN RUN....... welcome to the packers baby
legionpost1058 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - finnally we got a playmaker to put at return man i think he is going to be a fan favorite for the pack. i hope.
patriotsrdabest Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - don't get me wrong he looks like he's got a good deal of talent on him but jerry rice?
Sandman59 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Jerry Rice, I don't think so. I really do respect Jordy, even as a KU fan but he is a #3receiver in the league. Nothing wrong with that, I would have been glad if he would have been a Jayhawk because he was a walk-on, worked hard and made himself into a 2nd round NFL draft pick, amazing.
jsprecht Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - if there is one thing about k-state fans that is annoying, they compare their players with the greatest of all time, when they are not even in the same league. Jerry Rice has done it all at a level Jordy hasn't even seen a snap in yet. fatty4ksu, you are an idiot!!!!!!!!!
snowboy42 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - the packers drafted him for returning puproses, not for receiving.
wayneylin Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - the packers have always liked to draft receivers with return ability because it means that they usually will have good run after catch ability. (antonio freeman, robert brooks, terrence murphy, greg jennings, james jones) if jordy becomes our return man, it's just a bonus, but they drafted him as a receiver. he's a good returner, but it's not like he's devin hester or anything close.
Asesino300 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - WRONG, he's an upgrade over Koren Robinson. Which means he will be the main kick returner and the #4 WR. Reports say he could come out of trainning camp as the #3 WR since he's been looking better than James Jones.
dbiggs444 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - rookie of the year
GBchzhead Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - there is one thing i will agree with in your statement he hasn't proven himself...however everyone makes comparisons for a player coming out of college to a NFL level look at the drafts they say well this X player is like this y player so that part is very artificial about saying only K. St. fans say that stuff
jsprecht Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - i think i wrote that after watching another video by a k-state fan saying that josh freeman was a legend in the making, which i don't think he is. jordy nelson was a great receiver for k-state, but i think it is just stupid to compare people like that. i only made that comment because i was watching a video saying jordy nelson is the next jerry rice. had it been a different receiver, i would have said the same thing.
PimpGamer06 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - i really like this guy i think hes gonna surprise everyone this year with his return ability and his receiving.
GBchzhead Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - yea i agree with that part but like i said before for some reason people like to compare to other players so they can understand the abilities of each player but yea i doubt he'll be Jerry Rice he might get close even if i am wrong i wouldn't mind you know but as for everything else you say i agree with
soundguyno1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Green Bay has had a lot of success in drafting underrated WRs like Donald Driver, drafted in the 7th round, Gregg Jennings, James Jones, and now Jordy Nelson
gtboy453 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - he's basically anthony gonzalez
Fancoil Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - He's probably gonna be a 3rd reciver behind jennings and driver. Rodgers and Brohm is going to have a bunch of great targets the upcoming season
