Jul 26, 2008 - That's brilliant! Which software did you use to create it?

Jul 26, 2008 - I had no idea what this was about at first until I read the description..Music's come a long way hasn't it?
ladykier Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I love it !!
KeyboardAttacker Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Good job! It's maybe too abstract and you should have showed more how the DRM affected the music, you simply show the bird in a cage and it's too quick. But the colours and the music, perfect!
daurnimator Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - wow... That was abstract

Jul 26, 2008 - That's a big reason why we want people to add to it, clarify, build in some details. It's lacking in details. But the basic story is there, and as this is our first crack at something like this, we're happy. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Jul 26, 2008 - That's a fair criticism. It's never good to have the title explain the whole thing. We toyed around with calling it Musurgia Universalis, but that got laughed out of the meeting for being way too obscure. But I sort of agree with you. I like abstraction, but I like for it to be deciferable
flammatappa Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It was a combination of AfterEffects, GarageBand, and Illustrator, mostly...

Jul 26, 2008 - That's an interesting question I missed the first time I read your comment. How does DRM effect the music itself, beyond the consumer/listener/user. I think it leads some to see what they are doing as "property creation," commoditized creativity. There has to be a way to show that.
SoakyBeaver Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - DRM is already dying. 2K lost thousands of customers because they added DRM to BioShock. Good video.
beserke Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Oh I get it
Rozenrot Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Hooray!!!DRM is confirmed as dead. The last of the major record labels enforcing digital rights management onto us has finally caved. Yes!
segerev Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Hey, I'm glad to hear that. I'm one of those customers who passed on Bioshock because of DRM and I'll still pass on it even though it is only $20 now and they lifted some of the restrictions. They really lost any goodwill they had with me...

Jul 26, 2008 - I really enjoyed the video. The makers employed a great use of symbols and music ambience.Very good job!
