Oct 12, 2008 - Thank you so much. Kreuder makes another story out of it, full of charm. And my 78rpm is a wreck.

Oct 12, 2008 - Very dramatic piano introduction, leading to a fantastic interpretation of this tune!

Oct 12, 2008 - Yes, Rachmaninovs Prelude in C# minor, but then you knew this already and I'm just being pedantic. Good, though, to hear Kreuder again. An important man in the history of popular piano, I feel, just as Charlie Kunz is.

Oct 12, 2008 - I have the Jan Garber on Victor from 1933 of this tune, backed by Temptation. This is a wonderful example of the popular music from Germany in the early years of the National Socialist Government before all of the artistic censorship and all the horrific events that came to the notice of the rest of the world. Beautiful fidelity for this period too.
