But, this new stuff can't hold a candle to the old 3-6 up through the release of the "When the Smoke Clears" album in 2000. It's hard to top an album like that-nearly impossible. That was the sh*t!!! Oct 12, 2008 - dUDe, i believe u got it wrong. When you compare the material these guys put out now with what they did from '95-'03 it just doesn't compare. I been down with 3-6 probably b4 you even heard of them as I'm born in raised in the same hood as these guys. It's just not the same quality of music that got them where they are! I'm glad they made the money and earned the oscar coz it looks like ....IT'S OVA, HISTORY, AND COMMERCIALIZATION HAS FINALLY CHANGED THEIR WHOLE GAMEPLAN.
