Oct 12, 2008 - Fairy Lore. Mostly Scottish. "Sellie Fairies" - good or even Holy fairies. "Unsellie Fairies" - guess! "Trooping Fairies" - Fairies that live and travel in groups. Opposite is "Solitary Fairies." So Lilac and her buddies would be Sellie Trooping Fairies, whereas Carabosse is an Unsellie Solitary Fairy and Cross-Dresser! According to the mythology, fairies are full size and female! Tinkerbelle and those in Fantasia were not fairies. They were Sprites.
